2014 Christmas Parade

Please join us for a fun-filled afternoon of Christmas festivities, games, entertainment, contests, food & drink, shopping, and family delight sponsored by First Bank! Our theme this year is Christmas Around The World and we have quite the day scheduled for you.

The festivities begin at 11:30 with music and contests, our parade starts at 1:30 and goes from West Jeff Middle to Sutton Rd down to King Soopers and back. We'll have our Christmas Markets with local vendors inside our HEATED Spirits Tent this year behind Aspen Park Wine & Spirits along Sutton Rd, still serving up Peppermint Schnapps Hot Chocolate & Fireball Whiskey Hot Apple Cider for the adults, and hot cocoa for the kids.

NEW this year - Santa Games! We'll have frozen cornhole, Guess the Weight of Santa, Brain Freeze, and our favorite, the Frozen T-Shirt Contest. And it wouldn't be the same without our Santa's Milk & Cookies Eating Competition!

We'll be drawing the name of our $1,000 Cash Raffle winner that afternoon so buy your tickets during the day, then stick around to hear if you've won! The tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20 and you can purchase them at Brooks Place Tavern, at a Chamber event from one of our Ambassadors, or on Christmas Parade Day from one of our "elves" running around.

Elk Creek Creek Fire will again be hosting Santaland. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be arriving by fire truck, then waiting to hear what all the kids want for Christmas while getting their picture taken with Santa. We'll have a bonfire to keep us toasty warm and are working on getting chestnuts to roast in the fire!

We'll have not one, but TWO, fun rides available! Our ever-popular Horse-Drawn Trolley from Camp IdRaHaJe and sponsored by Blue Spruce Habitat for Humanity ReStore will be $1/ride, and is joined this year by a horse-drawn Carriage Ride sponsored by Biggie Liquor! Rides in the carriage are $10/family of 4.

We're excited for our upcoming Christmas Parade as we expect this to be bigger and better than ever - we hope you'll join us!
