About BOERA / Mission
As parents and community members we are creating positive educational and recreation opportunities for the children of this community.  This will include Disc Golf, multi user trail network and volleyball courts!
The mission of BOERA is to assist with improvements of Platte Canyon School District’s property at 599 Rosalie Road.  Through fundraising and good management, the property shall be safe and accessible primarily for use by students of the district for educational purposes and recreational events.  This property will also be used by the public for the purpose of additional fund raising to support student-focused endeavors.

The Bailey Turkey Trail Trot is the first fund raising event sponsored jointly with the Platte Canyon Cross Country Team and BOERA. All monies raised go directly to the PCCC and BOERA.  All monies raised by BOERA go directly into improvements on the property.  Heres the break down.  Concession - 100% contribution goes to PCCC.  Entry Fees - 25% of the net will go directly to PCCC!

Waves

In an effort to ensure your enjoyment and for your safety, we will be instituting a wave start.  Those being timed will be in the front group and you will line up according to your expected pace.  You can, of course, run with friends and family, but must line up at the slowest persons expected pace.  Those in the non-timed waves will be lined up from the front to back in the following order; runners, walkers, strollers.

Furry Family Members

Due to the size of the event, we are not able to accomodate your furry family friends, excluding service animals.  This is for the safeth of you pet and the safety of your fellow participants.  Thank you for your cooperation.
