7th Annual Evergreen Lake Plunge

At high noon on New Year’s Day at Evergreen Lake, snow or shine, you too can jump into the inviting waters for a winter plunge! You’d be joining several local personalities, some more notorious than others, in their New Year’s Day bath in the icy Rocky Mountain waters.

This event is a partnership with Drive Smart, Evergreen Fire/Rescue, Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, and Evergreen Park & Recreation District. This event is a fund raiser for Drive Smart and the Evergreen Park & Recreation District Special Needs Program.

 

A 10-foot by 10-foot area, six feet deep, will be cut out of the ice and equipped with a platform, ladder and Evergreen Fire Department water rescue personnel to ensure everyone’s safety.

REGISTRATION IS $35 IN ADVANCE AND $45 DAY OF

$120 IN ADVANCE FOR A TEAM OF 4 (Additional plungers $30 each)

$250 IN ADVANCE FOR A TEAM OF 10 (Additional plungers $25 each)

Too chicken to plunge, but want to support someone who isn’t. You can sponsor that friend, boss or enemy and watch those wild, woolly characters jump in! 

ONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSES AT NOON 12/30/2014, BUT WALK-UP REGISTRATION WILL OPEN AT 10:30am ON NEW YEAR’S DAY

Parking will be at Wulf Recreation Center, with a shuttle running to the lake beginning at 10 am.
