Skate the Lake, a non-alcoholic New Year’s Eve tradition since 1996, geared to families and those who wish to ring in 2015 New Year safely. Skate the Lake offers ice-skating, fireworks, fire barrel bonfires, sleigh rides, food music and ice games such as golf and hockey along with a beautiful ice sculpture from Colorado Ice Sculptures.
The event is open from 6pm to midnight, with a fireworks display at 8pm and Midnight to ring in the New Year. Once you’ve experienced it, you’ll always remember how magical it is.
Ice skate rentals are available from the Lake House for $7.00, but quantities are limited. Bringing your own skates as well as a winter sports helmet are strongly encouraged.
