From the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce:
Help celebrate the graduating classes of 2020! Although an in-person graduation ceremony cannot be held, the Evergreen community can come together and honor their achievement. Cheer them on as they caravan through the town they love!
They will begin on the north side of town by Bergen Park Village, and proceed through Hiwan and Hiwan Hills to Downtown. The parade will end by the Safeway Shopping Center around 5:45 pm.
At 4:00 p.m. when the EHS graduates should be turning their tassels and throwing their caps, we are asking the community of Evergreen to step outside and make some noise in commemoration. Honk your horns, bang your pots and pans, ring cowbells, hoot and holler in support and celebration of ALL 2020 graduates!
You can also help us celebrate them by lining the parade route in a responsible, mask wearing, socially distanced manner using the Jefferson County Guidelines.
Look to the sky as well! 3:50-5:00 pm a plane will be circling the Evergreen Area pulling a banner to celebrate the graduates
