All this is happening because the world sees the weakest and most lost leader this country has ever had. There has never been a better time to be an enemy of this country, HA... you need to look at the bigger picture of WHY this is happening now and why it didn't happen when Trump was president.

It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy

Now that Taiwan just voted against Chinese rule, we can now expect China to move on that country since the US is no longer a deterrent. More sequences of an administration run but a demented presidency.

"THE MACRO IS THIS.......U R WRONG"

HA,
I encourage you to listen again to your reference. Particularly the last 90 seconds.
The Bloomberg clip, if anything, reinforces my position. The representative of FlexPort is of the opinion that in the short term prices will go up but the world will recover. He points out that the situation in 2020-2021 at U.S. pacific ports had a greater impact than the closure of Red Sea waterway to Israeli ships and ships carrying cargo to and from Israel.

YES u r correct, the doc ALSO stated that prices will go up because of longer duration of transport.....the company has two choices, eat the cost of the delay or PASS IT ON.....either way Ramage, it WILL effect the
US economy.

audi Arabia also spent an estimated $615,422, the majority of which was sent through a monthly $11,189.21 rent for a property on the 45th floor in Trump Tower.

Meanwhile, Trump signed off on a $100 billion arms deal, and became the first U.S. president to make Saudi Arabia his first foreign visit in office.

The United Arab Emirates spent $65,225 at the Trump International Hotel in Washington over seven months while the Gulf nation was pushing the U.S. to support a blockade of its neighbor Qatar.

The government of India, where Trump owns his largest portfolio of foreign businesses, spent $282,764—mostly on monthly rent for two apartments at Trump Tower.
Key Background

The Foreign Emoluments Clause of the Constitution bans the President from accepting “any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State” without the consent of Congress. Trump refused to hand his businesses over to a blind trust, as other presidents

Of course it will effect the U.S. economy, is there anything that happens on the world stage that does not effect the U.S.
As expected your dislike of President Trump quickly surfaces even in a topic that has no relation to him.
The Forbes article is laughable. $11, 000 rent for a midtown Manhattan property is conservative by any measurement.
In case you are unaware, Saudi Arabia is one of the strategic allies of the U,S. in the middle east.
Do you disagree with that?
Forbes is grasping at straws in order to cast aspersions on President Trump.
Understand that you do not live in the world of Emirs, Sheiks and other billionaires. NYC is not Gunnison. This amount of money described by Forbes is what is known as Chump Change.

Please tell us who these other Presidents were.

You do realize that payments to the Trump companies were made for goods received? Or do you go to hotels that do not require you to pay for the room?

I particularly enjoy your attempts to take any topic and turn it into a Trump rant.

I believe THAT thought was not me.....my entire entry was about the results of the "Red Sea roundabout".

President Biden just spent Christmas Vacation at a "friend's" home. Is this kosher because he wasn't a foreigner?
