They all get burned out after a few years. Plus, they are now well-known and can get better paying jobs without the massive stress that comes with being a spokesperson for the president.

After 8 years of lies from Scott McClellan, Ari Fleischer, and Dana Perino, they found Gibbs... I'm sure they can find someone to replace him..
