Now all those people who moan and groan about paying taxes and not having kids in school have one less thing to gripe about - their taxes aren't paying for students' transportation.
Actually- we ARE paying for the students transportation now. What they want to do is remove that scope of service and charge EXTRA for transportation- and spend the money that is supposed to go to that function on somthing else.
And they will not be giving us a break on the taxes for removing this scope of service!
And yes- those parents with kids in school will be charged double- and the rest of us will be charged the same as always - paying the same, and getting less.
Do you understand the distinction?
Some people can't even see when they are getting ripped off!
