I know its not up here, but I always go to Golden.--- Avg. Fireworks show, but the town is nice and they set up a nice area in the park along the creek for families, games, picnic, food. Lookout mountain sounds interesting, but what is the deal with parking, it seems like it is limited?

Indian Hills has a pancake breakfast in the morning at the fire house followed by a parade I believe they have bands at some point but I'm not really sure and then fireworks after dark. There is a nice park across from the fire station with playgrounds for the kids. We've taken my grandson there a couple of times, go down for the pancake breakfast and parade and then return early evening for a picnic and play until fireworks. I honestly don't know if there are grilling facilities or not.
