White Dove Release Company
In Western Pennsylvania
Memory Makers is owned and operated by Norm Brozovich of Markle, Pennsylvania, a small village near Lower Burrell. We are now entering our seventh year in business and are proud to say we are growing very rapidly through our marketing efforts and attention to detail. We currently have over 200 white doves in stock and trained to return home from various areas in Western Pennsylvania. We are maintaining our stock at 300 "plus"doves to meet the demand for our services. Our birds are very well cared for with 8 large sections for each team to call home in a 50 by 16 foot spacious loft. We have also completed construction of a 20 by 24 foot Breeding Loft in July of 2005. We provide our birds with the best commercial feed including vitamins and supplements, and most importantly plenty of training so they will return home after their release.
In 2003 , Memory Makers had the honor of being chosen to close the service for the first Western Pennsylvania soldier killed in action in Iraq -Staff Sergeant Stevon Booker. We closed the service with the songs "Proud to be an American" and " God Bless America" while releasing one dove by hand and seventy more doves in front of the Honor Guard. Most of the local media and television stations covered the ceremony and took note of our part in it.
We were also proud to be featured in an unrelated USA Today article by Gladys Edmunds.
