10:1 ratio

The ~Ratio of posts views/post replies = 10. Why? It is a pretty constant number, give or take. A few that are lower than 10 are crappy topics. I need a government grant to do a study. $1Million should do.

And if an Orange is called and orange, why isn't a Banana called a yellow?

Why isn't an apple called a Red? Because there are a LOT of RED fruits.
Why isn't a watermelon called a Green? Same reason...

Same with Orange, so I guess, all the other names were taken, and than somebody (like Tom ("Moon Spells rake") in "The STAND), found an orange, and....

Why isn't an apple called a "red?" Because an apple can be green or yellow, too. Or part yellow and part red. Or somewhat orange.

Industry stats seem to play this ratio out.Looks kind of like talk radio, only a few ever call in , they just like to listen. Older sites get a 15 or 20 to 1 ratio.
285B has more participation and fewer views than PC, that will change over time. Interesting dynamic.

You are right JMC, looks like more participation here. PC living room is more like 200 or even 500:1 ratio. Lots of lurkers.

I may need $2million for my gov't grant to study these numbers. Any leftover stimulus funds?
