Washing my car at home today - need suggestions what to use

I don't feel like going to the store. What is the best soap to use that I have at home? Dawn? Wisk? Ivory bars?

I've used dishwashing liquid before and it worked fine. I don't know if laundry detergent is better or about the same. I'd just recommend that you use a liquid vs. a powder just in case the latter has a tendency to scratch the paint.

Gosh, I forgot that washing a car is like doing a rain dance!!!! No problem - we (I) really need some rain
