How do YOU do the dishes?

The son asked the mom if she could put Smooth Criminal on while he did the dishes. Wasn't long before she heard rustling coming from the kitchen.

I crank up the tunes and the rest, well you wouldn't really want to see it.

Dancing while listening to my favorite iPod playlist...oldies from the 70's and 80's. It takes me FOREVER to get the dishes done!

Here's a good socks-on-the-kitchen-floor tune! Turn it up loud!!

Some of the basic rules of bachelor living:

1) If you can't eat it out of the container it comes in don't buy it.
2) Paper plates, paper towels, and plasticware where invented for a reason.
3) Pick up the food with your hands and eat it; works well on almost anything except soup.
4) Got tinfoil, a heat source, and raw food? A foil pouch full of raw food on the heat source makes an easy meal, throw away the foil when you are done.
5) If you have to use a pot or a pan to cook, well seasoned cast iron is your friend. When the food is gone clean up is a paper towel some oil and another paper towel.
6) POTHOLDERS?! Who needs potholders?! I own three decent pairs of welding gloves (the really good pair is only for welding)!
7) Find a career that keeps you on the road more than you are home and eat in restaurants when possible, that way dishes are not your job. I advise looking for a career that covers per diem for food and lodging before adopting this idea.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Refer to rule two (pun intended) and supplement with "never fail to harvest a roll or two of TP from the hotels you frequent."

Edited to be more suitable for the campfire.

Please don't make this political. It's in the Campfire and was not meant to be political.

The kitties have first shot. They don't need tunes. Then I fire up the grill and throw them in a big stock pot on top. Boil, wipe, rinse out on the deck then air dry.
