This one was particularly interesting as it took and already big cluster?? and turned it into an even worse one.
One thing that really bothered me was where their contractors chose to park.
Why not take the side of the building completely over and leave SOME convenience to the customers.
Over the last year or so....I have found it increasingly more difficult to shop there.
Lines that wind through the store.
Circling the parking lot for several minutes hoping for any kind of parking spot.
The people that work there are really friendly but I wish they could have a bit of a sense of urgency when checking people out at the register.
Lately.....I have discovered how pleasant Kum and Go really is and they have free air.....Can you imagine.
I was disappointed at the lack of space to park as well. Went inside and could not get anything to eat. Hot dog roller was down and subway was closed. The side of the lot looked like it had parking but I wasn't sure what I would pick up in my tires.
:faint: You have to be kidding. What do you shop for at loaf and jug? Where are the candied Yams? Isle 23.
They remodel, and that upsets your daily routine? Sorry to be snarky, but really? Dinner at Loaf & Jug, YUMMY!
Haven't been back to see the remodel. Figured they didn't want customers with all the mess they had going on. Wondered why they would choose to loose business now when so many might be stopping by after cutting their christmas trees. Chalked it up to lack of business sense.

“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles
This cracks me up. Whenever other posters have something negative to say about local business, Becky always jumps in to defend the small business person.
Yet, she made the choice to attack this business for staying open and trying to service their customers in the midst of a remodel that will be disruptive.
The other choices they had were to close and remodel or not remodel at all. I suspect Becky wouldn't find fault in those choices too.
If you can't deal with the small inconveniences in life, you're screwed when something big happens.
