I never did, but I know a lot of people who did.

They were different, and pretty, in their own way.

Can't say I ever had one of those... I'd rather cut a fresh tree the week before Christmas and turn it in to firewood on New Years day.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

My grandparents had one just like that and with the color changing lamp. I think it was easier to manage for older people than a fresh cut tree. Trees with dropping needles were too common in sunny Florida.

This picture sure brings back memories of Christmas time when they were alive. Thanks for posting.

We never had one like that....but I do remember the year I came home from college and my mom had a white tree with all pink and rose decorations. My brother and I gave her such grief she never tried that again. My dad, ever the diplomat, was silent on the whole issue.

We got one when they first came out. We loved that thing. We loved sitting in from of the color wheel and watching our faces change colors. Thanks for bringing back that priceless memory!

I remember thinking that my brother looked a little like the devil under the yellow or red light on the wheel.

What color bulbs were on the one you remember. They needed to be all the same color.
