Sometimes, a nursing home can be a place for one patient to find love and marriage with another patient. This may be true whether the spouse visits or not. Some people never get any visits from relatives when they are in a nursing home.

Many marriage makers, parents, family members, counselors, and various couple matchers often warn one person or another that unless they change their approach to finding a mate, that they'll end up alone in a nursing home with nobody to love them.
