If a bear entered my home he would just have to fight for food just like the rest of us.

The story I read said that the 'autopsy' performed indicated that he had been eating a lot of bird food so apparently used to easy food provided by humans.

I came to this forum from the other one, because I know it's safe here to post my true feelings:

If ya leave your garage door open and a bear invades your basement, and then your stupidity continues to the point where you enter said basement to try and get the bear out...you deserve what you get. Poor bear, may he rest in peace.

I'm pissed. And I rarely get pissed.

Hey you. I saw your man in the store tonight. I was on the phone so I didn't get to really talk to him though.

I hope this means to store the grease inside, and not the grill! There's no way I can lug ours in by myself!

That's crazy..

A weeks ago; we had a Mother bear bringing her cubs to my neighbors deck (my neighbors are weekends); Momma would leave the cubs on the deck while she went down to the lake and get a meal for them.. It's so great to watch her care for the little ones. We have a lot of bears here but no reports of aggressive behaviors from them. Last summer; I would sit on my deck in the early morning hours and watch as one bear would walked btw the lake and the house. Amazing!! and in the evening;we would sit around the campfire and watch them walk from the lake back to the forest. The pug took off after one last summer; it was really funny; the bear just looked at the pug as though it was laughing... I think the bears around here are much less aggressive due to the amount of food available..

Here is a video of a good friend of ours with his local bear:

Thanks for sharing the video, JRSK.

I fixed your YouTube link. All you have to do is put the URL in between teh youtube code (see the youtube button above the box where you type). That automatically embeds the video in your post.

Here's what the code should look like:
