anyone want to write "thank you" letters to a Navy guy?

After a year of college, my oldest bailey brat joined the Navy.

He's still in training at the Great Lakes Recruit Training Command (aka "basic camp").

However - he enjoys letters.

Letters help a recruit get through the day. Basic isn't really that easy.

If any of you would be interested in writing a "thank you for your service" --- or something like that, I'd be happy to give you an addy. Note, however - recruits cannot receive anything other than letters (no care packages, etc)

CG - will get you addy. Just need to find the paper I wrote it on.

Surprised to see one (1) volunteer --- I thought the old TSAC was bigger than that!

Thanks, though.

I love writing letters. I used to do this with soldiers angels too. It is pretty easy. I am sure you will get more volunteers shortly!

I will be making cards this weekend and would love to make some specifically to send to your son and his boot camp buddies. Just pm the address. Would you be OK with my sharing the address if some others make cards for them?

I would love to send him a card. Please PM me his address.

Not sure what the "old TSAC" mention means but I'd still like to show my support for his service to the local community and our country even as an individual, if that's cool with you all.

PM me his address! I'd love to send the guy a note...(although I'm sure he would prefer one from from the women here!)

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Great Lakes? I used to hang around there on the weekends once in a while. Really, I did, since a couple friends of mine from high school were stationed there. But seriously, I'd love to write to your son. He may even actually remember me.

I've asked for the address here and sent an email as well, with no reply. Is bailey bud off line for a while? I'm making cards tomorrow and would like to know how many to make for his request.
