Temperature inversion?

It's 35 right now outside here in PJ, was 39 a while ago, and 42 down Pleasant Park half hour ago. Down the hill today it was a balmy 17 degrees.

Driving down the hill this morning the temperature started to drop about halfway thru the canyon. It went from 31 to 17 by the time we got to C470. Good thing I was spending the day inside since I was not nearly dressed warmly enough for 17 degrees.

That cloud was pushed right up against the hogbak coming back up the hill.

All I know is it's dang cold out there. I'm happy to finally be home, the whole family snuggled up watching the Grammys!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
