We had a question posed on our Facebook page and I thought I'd ask all of you if you knew anymore about this subject. I vaguely remember seeing something about this, but have to run to the Mountain Peace Shelter Barnraising ASAP and can't really do a search.
Thanks!
Just wondering is there a community coop greenhouse here? Has anyone ever got together and did one?
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
The short answer is "yes". But I'll say that the term here in your title is subjective, which means that the short answer might be "no".
Can't really figure out how to write this without it sounding rude, so just understand its not intended as an insult or anything....
"Community coop greenhouse", one does indeed exist here in Park County, but the term community refers to the very localized people of that section. Meaning if you live in Conifer, Evergreen, or even closer such as Burland or Roland Valley.... its not YOUR community and you won't have access to it.
Again, that's not a statement of rudeness it simply means we take care of our own. There are plans for expansion but not sure if/when such a thing could occur.
