I learned a long time ago that I am solar powered. I like the seasons, so we can get excited about the next season. I don't like spring too much around here - too muddy and messy, but I ADORE summer

I don't get the point of daylight savings time. It seems to me that if you want to see the sun in the morning you could adjust your schedule rather than change your clock forward or backward.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

We have a heated sidewalk and entrance at work. The other day there was a small garter snake warming itself on the walkway. Along the edge of the walk was the first budding dandelion of the year.
