Fire Fatigue

Yep, we went to Lanikai twice and the first time we had the beach almost all to ourselves. It is THE most beautiful beach! What is the GAP? The H3? I LOVE the H3!

Oahu is too crowed. Who in their right mind would want to go to any beach there?

I used to live in Maui and have been to all the islands quite a bit, but Oahu is MY FAVORITE by far. Sure, each has it's own beauty, but Oahu has everything. I think so many people hate Oahu because they don't know where to go or what to see. They stay in Honolulu, or just go to all the touristy places, and they never see what Oahu really has to offer. I would hate it too if that was all I ever knew of the island. Does this look crowded to you?

I've been to every island 20 times spent 25 days on the French Frigate shoals..Don't tell me about Private beaches, and SG is a Hawaii expert too- She lived there

Great Pictures SG..We drove into Honolulu to see Matisyaho and Comedian Bobby Lee at the Pipeline (?) last time we were there..And I hate the place. I hate Honolulu- I haven't styed there since 1984- And youre right,,Its one of the best beaches in the world..Thanks for shutting up JSG with the pics

I'm not a big fan of Honolulu either, but I can take it in small doses. I'm not trying to shut JSG up, but he has the same take on it as so many others for good reason. I avoid the North Shore on the weekends, and most of the beaches for that matter. I go when it's quiet and we had most places all to ourselves. The pools and lagoons at our resort were NUTS though. Here are a few pics of two of my other favorite places on the island........which we had to ourselves too. Can you name them VL?
