It wouldn't hurt my feelings if the weather prognosticators drastically under estimate the amount of rain and snow we are about to receive. I guess we will all have to wait and see what Mother Nature delivers and then we will know for sure.

I am worried about all of the residents going back in to their homes after being evacuated due to the Lower North Fork fire. What if there is just enough moisture to foul the roads with snow and ice but not enough to suppress the fire? Add in some wind and there is a dangerous situation in the early morning hours and possibly Monday night into Tuesday.

I wonder the same, otisptoadwater. But the folks on Pleasant Park, Kuehster, etc. are a hardy bunch so they will probably welcome the weather messing with the roads. I think they will be vigilant too for any fire. I remember as a kid rattling over gravel roads and no higrade and it would take at least 35 minutes if not longer to get to 285 from Kuehster.

:like: We have a little white stuff on the ground now but I don't think we'll be very lucky to end up with a couple of inches. However, I like HC's 7-9" better!
