LARIMER COUNTY - A destructive wildfire at this time last year may provide lessons for the victims of the Lower North Fork Fire. Monday marked the one year anniversary of the Crystal Mountain Fire in Larimer County.
The fire destroyed 13 homes and scorched more than 3,000 acres west of Fort Collins.
Siblings Desariah and Remington Santillanez will never forget their drive through the flames.
"This entire thing was on fire, we were driving through fire to get out," Desariah said.
