PCHS on Lockdown?

Interesting to take notice of two different mindsets...

The schools were never on lockdown. They were on lock out which is very different.

With a lockout clases continue as normal but kids are not allowed outside. The sheriffs office secures the parameter of the school and no one is allowed in. During a lockdown, classes are suspended and kids are not allowed in the halls.

Lockouts occur fairly often during hunting season as hunters are often spotted in the national forest near the school.

We received a call today also.
I applaud Platte Canyon Schools for their handling of the situation.
