Why do people fall for this stuff? It's only 15% bigger, which scientists say is "imperceptible" to most people, yet the media plays it up like it's going to be some giant moon tonight only. It was up last night, too. I couldn't tell the difference.

I was looking forward to the moon rise at dusk, that is when it would have appeared to be largest. I have had a couple of glimpses through the evening, the moon is full enough you can read a book when the clouds aren't covering it.
