For me 9/11 is every bit as important as Pearl Harbor, both dates that will live in infamy and truly worthy of commemorating each year. Remember those who were lost and those who have been injured or lost in the process of defending our Nation and our way of life.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

We lost 241 American servicemen: 220 Marines, 18 Navy personnel and three Army soldiers, along with sixty Americans injured, representing the deadliest single-day death toll for the United States Marine Corps since the Battle of Iwo Jima of World War II, the deadliest single-day death toll for the United States military since the first day of the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War, and the deadliest single attack on Americans overseas since World War II.
They are rarely mentioned.
And why limit God's blessing to the United States? How about wishing God would bless all of mankind? God is not exclusive to the U.S.
