Yes, he had yellow tags cut into both ears. Does that mean he's on a "short leash"?

My sister-in-law who is visiting took those. I got a good HD movie of him too, but don't know how to post it.

I love the pics!!! thanks for sharing. The only two I've seen this year were one on the trail and the other at Shaffer's Crossing. I wish I would have gotten pics.

Plenty of sign around here. Tuesday being one of their favorites as it is trash day in the hood.

Just wondering, with it being so warm out, do you think the bears will stay out longer before hibernating?

So does that mean you do things right and don't leave anything that might tempt them or you just aren't on their regular trails?

No trash food here but the bears eat berries from the bushes and rest in a quiet setting before trekking to tuesday, wednesday trash days in the area.
