Amber Alert Issued: 10 y.o. Girl Missing in Westminster

On the day a dog followed the minuscule scent of little Alie Berrelez up the Deer Creek draw, as she was transported in a vehicle traveling 50 mph, I knew there was no longer such a thing as the unsolvable crime.
There is no way this evil thing (has no gender, is not human) passed undetectable on the face of the earth. It left DNA behind everywhere it went and a dog will be able to detect it, likewise information we can collect and chemically analyze in years to come if necessary. Its traces are everywhere in this area. We've already found it, we've taken lots of it with us, and we just need to figure out whose body it's wearing and where it's hanging out.
Sooner or later, we will.

That dad has to feel pretty bad not calling the mom. I also still see alot of kids walking around here with no supervision. I don't want to make anyone feel bad but I have disagreed with the way kids just walk around and the school does not take this stuff seriously. Trust me I bitched about it for years and was labeled as a helicopter parent.

Police confirm connection between May abduction attempt, Jessica Ridgeway case
By Robert Garrison
Oct. 23, 2012

WESTMINSTER - The Westminster police announced on Monday evening there is a direct link between the Memorial Day attempted abduction at Ketner Lake and the Jessica Ridgeway murder case. Investigator Trevor Materasso would not say if investigators believe the same person was involved in both attacks.

Monday evening, police also told 9NEWS that they have ruled out other evidence that has been recovered as they investigate the Ridgeway case. Most notably, police say some grocery receipts for garbage bags that were discovered after Ridgeway's body was found are not related to the case.

Meanwhile, investigators are still testing potential evidence that was found by a woman at Pattridge Park on Sunday.

Thousands of tips have been received in the Ridgeway case and police are still asking for the public's help. The FBI and the Behavioral Analysis Unit are asking the public to contact authorities if anyone around them changed their behavior, acted unusual, failed to show up for a family activity or other change that was unusual on Oct. 5 and days after Jessica's disappearance and the Memorial Day weekend. You can contact the Westminster Police Department on their tipline: 303-658-4336.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
