That got to thinking what are everyone's favorite apps.
Not counting such things as browser, corporate email, and messaging.
Mine are:

Google SkyMaps is awesome. It uses GPS to set your position then displays the stars and constellations depending on where you aim it. Evernotes is also great if you use several devices. It can sync up your notes, weblinks across phone, computer, tablet, or other devices.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I might have to try Skymaps
It's a free app on Android, not sure if on other platforms. Satellite AR is a good companion to go with it. It identifies satellites by aiming the phone/tablet at it, and can also track a particular satellite.

Foxfi....to create a wi-fi hot spot to use on the road for my computer. With 4g it's as fast as a DSL connection, and it uses your existing data plan with Verizon, not an additional plan. (I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan)

Foxfi is the app that comes with PDANet. I don't have my Foxfi hot spot password protected, but I named it hXxExxr. I'm daring anyone to jump on it.

Another one from the Satellite AR developers is Peak AR. It identifies peaks through/using the camera, point it towards a range and it identifies the peaks, very cool.
