The thing that grinds my gears about the lottery is that I know mathematically I have a better chance of getting hit by space junk than winning the lottery. Never stops me from throwing away a couple of bucks and when the drawing comes someone usually wins, it's just never me.
If I won? I don't really entertain that idea because it's not likely going to happen. If the shock didn't kill me right off the bat, I'd call my boss and ask for a couple of weeks of vacation and take an exotic trip. Then I'd pay off all of my debt, divide up some big chunks for each of my family members, and donate another big chunk to the VFW, Disabled Veterans, and the USO. After that I would keep working in the job I have and keep living exactly where I do right now.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Hire some help to really get 285Bound cooking! Hubby thinks I should outsource moderating to India! rofllol
Do I have any money left?

OMG...Doesnt the military get enough of our money? They spend 500 million every 15 minutes...
Not suprised that you would give money to the very last people that need or deserve it...

But here is question, You will now have more money than your financial guy. Is he equipped to handle that amount of money? The attorney can probably draw up trusts, and such. However if the finance guy is good, the terms of trusts and wills will probably become obsolete. A vicious (sp) circle, I would like to run around.
I would also sit back and watch and listen to who begged, cried, and moaned that they deserved my undeserved riches. Could be interesting.
You win 500 million and start doleing out pennies to just supliment their incomes.............
And you might suffer a bad fall or something Gramma, like off the Royal Gorge. Youre greedy!
Too many trust fund babies do not know how to take care of themselves, never having had to work for a living. I love my grands too much to place them in that position. I want them to be accomplished, capable adults who know how to handle their lives, including finances.
Heaven forbid that they would turn into something like you.

I think I will buy a horse.
Financial guy has been good so far. Final decisions would be mine but I'd use their input in the terms and such. Ahhh, to have such worries. lol

You look foward to see people beg at your feet and twist in the wind...While I would look foward to making as many people happy as I can
