Don't make fun of my slippers. They were a gift.

I buy my pants the same place I buy car batteries. .....
(that was a joke on a sitcom - I forget which ---- but Sears does have a Lands' End corner)

I have two hand-made suits, though - that I dig out when I need to.

Since Durango doesn't have a real Sears - I do most of my shopping these days at Big R.

Finally, I'm less interested in having help getting dressed ---- than undressed.

Similes? I meant smiles. What can I say, I have fat fingers on the ends of both paws. I suppose I could live out my days in a constant state of anger at the world and everything in it, instead when something bothers me I'll say so and move on. Life is too short to be angry all the time and when you are angry very often the only person who is effected is yourself.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Slippers while splitting wood? Sounds like a OSHA violation to me. Funny how I can perfectly picture it though! :happier:

I like your smilies too otis, and your sense of humor!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

Good to know I am not the only procrastinator up here. Been known to chop firewood in my bathrobe and slippers at 20 degrees. LOL I hate those pesky neighbors of mine who show off with their neatly stacked, huge piles of split firewood, probably did it back in September when it was 70. Wusses!

P.S. I knew it was a typo, but it was a fun one.

I was waiting for someone to ask if I really go commando in warm weather, hence the reason the bib overalls MUST be well broken in! A lesser man than me would also point out the tendency of the indigo dye to transfer off of new denim to bare skin; blue skin on certain parts of the body could be a deal breaker for even the most aggressive Cougar and/or her rural counterpart the Mountain Lion. Hey, this here is a family show so I ain't going there...

Cougar, mountain lion? You are a hunter? I thought it was a big deal to get a bear tag. Never heard of one for a big cat. Perhaps you poach them? No need to answer that.
