Send some of that just a couple of miles to the southeast! All I'm asking for is to get up at 0400 tomorrow morning, look out the window and rapidly conclude that there is nothing to do but leave the boss a voice mail and go back to bed. Unfortunately I think this is probably one of the more "over forecasted" storms of the season, big predictions for snow but color me skeptical (I REALLY REALLY WANT TO BE WRONG ABOUT THIS).

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

I'm with you Otis. It blizzarded (is that a word?) heavy wet thick chunky snow here an hour or so ago. Everything turned white instantly. Now....all gone and dry again.
I know the forecast says that the heavy snow isn't supposed to start until midnite-ish, so far looking at the NWS radar it looks to me like the big can of whoop-ass went north and east of us:

Never the less, now Jeffco has closed skules for tomorrow. I just made a trip to the log pile in shorts and flip flops - it's cold and windy but no snow. Where's the "beef?!"

Pretty mild in town this morning but the Denver West area is icy. The plow boys have done a good job so far. Update: the snow is starting to pile up in Jeffco and the wind chill is down to zero.
My poor wife, she was 90% of the way to work (she goes in real early) before her company texted that they were shut down today. The commute home will be interesting.
