Lime Gulch (was Chair Rock) Fire, Evacuations Ordered.

CG, they are calling it the "Lime Creek" Fire now...I don't know who had the authority to change the name, but they did...I'll try to get to the botom of it.

Anyway, I'm back everyone! Just during the fire though...I'm here if anyone needs me, I can see the fire from my house

I just heard how the fire started, but I haven't independantly confirmed it yet so i'm holding off on reporting it...You're not gonna believe it friends..

Flew right over the fire on the way to DIA from Durango ---- didn't look good

Not that truth or accuracy seem to matter anymore, but the fire was first reported late in the day on the 18th, not yesterday. The USFS was responding along with North Fork Fire Dept. There is a gulch called Lion Gulch near Chair Rocks, not Lime Gulch. The USFS (feds) are the same that let a controlled burn get out of control a couple years ago and people died as a result, so not a lot of confidence from me when they respond to anything. The media could actually verify place names and info on when a fire was first reported, or just keep making things up as they go.
