Smoke investigation south of this area. Caller sees smoke not just smell

We've been smelling smoke in the air most of the day, long before the lightning showed up.....now that the air is heavy and wet it smells like Mtn Gramma described, an old wet campfire.

As far as I can tell they are taking all call seriously and checking. I am not sure what they have found yet.

CG....THANKS bunches for the info....I called dispatch in Parkco and they were WELL aware of issue (many,many calls)....after
viewing such a WIDE spread area that was reporting smoke I felt it was "wind drift" from the large fires else where....so I went back
to bed...looks like our ground is wet this morning....( :woo hoo: )
