Haven't heard anything on the scanner about Bailey. No rain now.
I have to agree I have never seen rain and hail like that in all the time I have lived here either.
Wow! Just saw some pictures of the hail in Wheatridge on 9news.com. Looks like they got hammered. Light rain, thunder and lightning in the vicinity of the Cave. Wondermutt wasn't hiding in his crate when I got home and he's not acting goofy now so I'm guessing nothing big is headed this way any time soon. Fresh batteries in the weather radio and keeping an eye on my canine storm alert system. Hope everyone is safe but ready to bug out if flash flooding becomes a threat in your area.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Right on.
Glad everybody is OK, sounds way scary! and the pix on 9news were impressive.
Streams like Roland Creek could get weird if they got enough rain.

I was on I-70 near Applewood Golf course @ 3:30pm and The underpass at Denver West was flooded and traffic was all but stopped, but..There was no horizontal rain and hail. It was coming straight down.
Park County has been in a drought cycle for the past few years, with precipitation below the normal level, and the trend is continuing this year even though, from a short-term perspective, the county has had more rain this year than last year. Details in this week's Flume.
