Sent you a PM for referral. There are other providers as well, so I don't know what is best for your needs.

No I don't have the cell hooked up, I have heard you can do that with wifi but never tried it.

I don't use skybeam for phone, just internet only. They will probably try to sell you a package. :)

Others may know about the wifi cell phone adapter, I think it is free if it uses your connection.

$5,000.00 worth of upgraded equipment from Skybeam sits on my roof! I live in Bailey!
I have 5 bars! Great Internet connection as compared to my neighbors who only have 2 bars from Century Link.

I would go with Skybeam as they have phone service too but...
I have a Magic Jack Plus phone that costs only $20 per year, have to have an internet connection though. If the internet goes down..then your phone does too but in the last 2 years I have had it just 2 very temporary episodes.
When you first get the Magic Jack Plus you have to plug it into your pc to register but then after that your pc does not have to be on and you just plug it into any electrical outlet anywhere!
I got tired of paying Century Link over $880 per year not it only costs $20 and I kept my old number for an xtra $10 per year.

Was the best decision I ever made...Now I can use the $880 I was paying Century Link for other stuff.
If the internet goes out and I have to make a call I just go to my car and use ON STAR because that is satellite and it has never failed me.
Recently when the power went out...I just hopped in my car and called to report the outage!

If you have T-Mobile cell service - they have wi-fi calling on their phones. When I get home, my cell phone automatically connects to my internet and I can make calls.

I originally paid for my wispertel equipment around $300, now I hear they are only leasing the new upgraded equip. $5K seems like alot! WOW

Pacamom- we have to try that, I heard the performance was a little sketchy over Internet, does the voice work ok?
