Fine by me, they'll find a spotless house since our fabulous housecleaner was here today, tons of taekwondo trophies, good notes from their instructors, good report cards, and healthy kids who get mad at their parents because we make them do their homework, but tell us I love you every day without even being prompted. You know what? After I had a night to sleep on it, I need to say something else. I really don't appreciate the personal threat Super Malta. I brushed it off and took it as a joke yesterday because I know you're not serious, but I need to say that it's a pathetic low blow that was totally uncalled for, threatening to call social services on me as if how you don't like I run my business has anything to do with my abilities as a parent. (FYI, I'm much more strict with them than I ever would be with you - they do their homework or go in time out, and they don't backtalk their Mom or they lose every electronic device they treasure AND go sit in time out til they apologize).

VL and others posted in a way that was against the TOS of this board, they were all contacted and asked to stop, everyone PM'd the first time did in fact stop except VL. VL was contacted multiple times and asked, then told, to please stop. He was given recommendations for alternate ways to handle the situation and instead he made the choice to do the same thing he'd already been warned about. He was told upfront and honestly the consequences of his actions and he had free will to stop; he chose not to. And no, he has not been banned. If he's having trouble logging in, that's another matter - we don't know that's an issue for a member unless they email or call us and we're happy to help fix the problem.

He was treated fairly and honestly, and told what would happen if he chose to continue. If he doesn't like it, he has himself to blame and no one else. We treat our members like adults, not like children that need to be babysat. And if he wants to be appreciated and respected, then he needs to start showing some of that back to the members here. We are treated by how we treat others; give and ye shall receive; do unto others, etc.

I don't play games with members, what you see is what you get. You know where you stand with me, and you know what's expected of you. You also know what will happen if you continue to make choices that harm this business, plain and simple. I give multiple chances to correct mistakes, give plenty of allowances, I am not mean, I explain myself as best as possible when questions are asked, and I do my best to be understanding about any given situation, but I won't allow any one person to disrupt this board the way VL did.

Now, if he's truly interested in hosting a webcam, then he needs to call me. The number's 720-608-0285. It requires a site visit to his home to confirm we have access to what's necessary to install it, a signed contract, and he has to cover the cost of the camera or find a business sponsor who will. We cover installation, maintenance, and insurance. If he's going to host, he will need to give us access when there's a technical problem with the camera, which does happen with some of these from time to time, but we always call ahead to arrange a convenient time for the hosting party. We'd be glad to discuss this in more detail on the phone, so if he's serious please tell him to call.
