Where did I call it a vacation? Is drinking badly poured beer on your deck a vacation? I thought the topic was enjoying a nice spring day. We just happened to enjoy 5 nice spring days in a row while my wife (a teacher) is on her spring break. She is also a world class skier BTW.
It was just a nice chance to get away for a while and enjoy the great outdoors during some fantastic spring weather without having to travel there every day.

Pf were the photos taken with your SX 50 HS? Nice photos. Did you see any elk herds along the way? We saw a herd before and after Fairplay on our way to Buena Vista. Spent some time in Breckenridge too. Spring break has been quite fun with the kiddos.

We spent the past 5 days in Breckenridge. Soaking up the sun, snow, local beer, wine and fabulous food. Snow mobiles, dog sleds, skiing, dinner trail rides. Wow what a great time!
