It would be the second earliest in Denver if it happens. I am going to guess no snow at DIA but at 8000 feet.

Yeah...the weather person said it would snow in the foothills...is 9,953 feet elevation considered foothills? Is 9600 feet elevation considered foothills...dang-it, methinks I'm driving in snow over Hoosier Pass.

And the first freeze/snow is always the worst 'cuz dually trucks pulling trailers loaded with rock think they can get up the pass with summer tires! It actually turns into quite a laugh-fest 'cuz they all pass me then when they spin out and are in the ditch, I pass them.

PER Kathy Sabine...foothills are below 10,000 feet....above that are the mountains, we live at 8800 in
the Banana Belt(but at the Base of Rosalie,sorta)....it's a crap shot for snow....
