I had heard that he may have lost his medical. That is a tragedy for a pilot. I hate seeing the taildragger just sitting in the barn as I drive by!

Nice! I bet the approaches in the valley are interesting. Sorta like shooting the approach into Glenwood Canyon (GWS).

I've taken off, but never landed the old taildragger. People actually duck in their cars when they see the plane lift up. Funny.

I bet that is a sight! It is good to see aviation still around here in the hills. It would be great to see an airport in Park County so that I didn't have to travel to KAPA or KBJC.
