Posted 12 hours ago on the Missing Person: Jason Berglund Facebook Page :

we just returned from Colorado. spent thanksgiving day searching at Wellington Lake. went up the trail toward Castle Peak about halfway, then worked our way across the mountain north, and then up right to the base of the bald cliff face, and across all of that face. We had been told by Park County Sheriffs Deputy that a search team had gotten a reaction from the dog in that area earlier in the week. It was not a tracking scent dog, so the reaction by the dog might have been to a lion or bear, is what we were told.

We were in Bailey for the first 5 days of the search. Oct. 30 and 31, Thurday and Friday it was just Park County SAR, Nov. 1 and 2, Alpine Rescue was helping, and after that weekend it was back down to just PCSAR. I haven't had a chance, or been able to make the time to contact Ron Brunges of PCSAR, But we have been told by sheriffs deputies that the search has gone on, on a small scale for quite a few days since then. It is great to hear from someone who helped in the search at the beginning. Please message us more with anything you can about it.

there was a possible sighting of Jason on Saturday Nov. 22 in the Harris Park area. Jason's uncle, and aunt from Castle Rock went up in that area on Wednesday [the 26th] and put up a lot of our missing posters, and talked to a few people in the area. we hope that if anyone else has seen Jason, or his lookalike, they will contact us. If it was just someone who looked like Jason we would like to be able to eliminate that. We went there with them on Thanksgiving day, after we had been searching most of the day at Wellington Lake. This looks like a difficult area to try to keep an eye on, but it is our latest possibility.

Please keep an eye out for him!

Read about it earlier. I am hoping they might give more particulars about location as some of us went out and looked along the Colorado Trail. Wonder if we were anywhere close.

Condolences to family.
