"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
Bailey Day 2015 was a success. It was a beautiful day, the weather held out and a good time was had by all! We couldn't do it without the support of the community and local businesses.
Thank you to all of Bailey Day sponsors, the bands for the entertainment, the organizations who put on events, the business owners on Main Street who let us use their parking lots, the vendors for making the event a success and the wild west re-enactors for the shows.
We would also like to thank the Platte Canyon Historical Society for running the Kids Korral at McGraw Park, Saunders Costumes for providing costume rentals, Jim N Nicks for catering, Kenosha Auctions for running our auction, and Alpine Lens photography for taking Olde West photos.
Behind the scenes we received tons of help from Shirley Septic, Budweiser, SSS Productions, Staples in Conifer, Platte Canyon School District No 1 bus barn, Crow Hill Bible Church, St Mary of the Rockies, Girl Scouts, Boys & Girls Club, local chamber members, additional volunteers and chamber board members.
Cheers to Bailey, and all the wonderful people who make this community the best place EVER!
