Elk Creek Rd Closed Indefinitely Between Pine Grove & Bucksnort Saloon

From the Bucksnort Saloon :
Friends.... The road to the Bucksnort is closed indefinetly from the South side, from Pine Grove. The bridge is washed out and about to collapse. I was told by the authorities that it will take the whole summer and then some to replace that bridge.

The Bucksnort can still be accessed from less popular Shaffers Crossing side.

I refuse to close in the summer and will do everything in my power to stay open in order to provide the unforgettable Bucksnort experience to my customers. Please pay us a visit and refer your friends to this awesome and one of a kind Colorado saloon this summer.

Please help us to keep the Bucksnort open, share this with your friends.

Sincerely yours,

Galina

Thanks for the information.

We were up driving along Deer Creek past 43 looking at how swollen it is.

How is Elk Creek doing from 285 to the Bucksnort? Any issues? Thanks.

Friends! GOOD NEWS! The state installed some temporary reinforcement on the problematic bridge and the road is now open on both sides! It means business as usual. Thank you, Colorado! See you all here this summer! Please share this! Thank you all for your support!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
