I actually closed up my house this morning and turned the AC on, not because it's too hot but because I needed the AC to run and pull the pollen through the HEPA filters. The allergy drugs aren't even helping anymore - I feel your pain Happy Camper.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
I'm right there with you folks, the pollen and everything being in bloom are aggravating. More rain? I'm not sure that would help but if it brings the tenchabur down to something a little less hot than Hades I'm all for it! I am depressed, we are five months out from the return of nice weather and SNOW.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
I'm right there with you HC. I was out and about a few days ago and the pollen and dust were so bad that when I got home I ended up on oxygen and bedridden. Haven't been out since. Rain helps my breathing as it does bring down the dusts. Can't wait for winter as there isn't any air conditioning so even with windows closed it is still very hard to breathe even with oxygen. But for now, not wishing for any rain as Deer Creek and other tributaries are jumping out of their banks and don't want to see any more stress on Chatfield Reservoir and northeastern Colorado. They have enough water issues.
