We’ve recently seen a spike in burglaries in Jeffco where suspects have entered homes through open garage doors to steal items. From bikes to golf clubs to even beer in the fridge, thieves are stealing anything they can easily get their hands on.
Since we anticipate another surge in this crime as the summer goes on, we’ve created this helpful public safety video to kindly remind residents to please close your garage doors to prevent burglaries!
We’re also asking you to share this video to help remind your friends and neighbors to do the same!
