It's been a busy weekend here in the mountains! Yesterday was Busterfest, the Conifer Farmers Market, Ridgefest at Aspen Ridge Church; today Emily's Parade and ER::5K. Both days saw the leaf peepers out in force and pictures posted left, right, and center on social media of our gorgeous fall colors. For a special treat for me, a friend of mine met me at the Chamber office and we played with his drone to get pictures and video of Conifer! I still have to process the video, but here are some photos:

The exit for CR 73 to Evergreen from Hwy 285 at Conifer Marketplace
Conifer High School. The color in the hills is so vibrant!

Feeling so lucky to get to live and work here in the foothills of Colorado!
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
It was actually backed up further yesterday when I was heading home at noon than it was today during the middle of the parade. Crazy!
