Our altitude here is slightly over 6,000 ft.....the desert floor is cooling down at nite...low
50's,to mid40's .....day time still hi 70's...so still lots of green, but alittle yellow.pale green
and my maples are just starting to turn some flame....choke cherry bush darken and my next
door neighbor's aspens starting pale green......at 10,000 where the video was shot, (think close
to the Uncomphagre Natl forest ) I'm sure THAT is a different story......San Juan's STILL had
patches of snow thru mid to late July.....Aug. had some white in the bowls....NO RAIN thru
last of July and Sept.....seemed like a short monsoon season.
