"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

From concerned citizens in Park County:

We know there has been a lot of conversation centering on the proposed HWY 285 CDOT plans. Most everyone is in agreement that some or all of CDOT's plans do not seem reasonable or well thought out.
Since it is up to the community to stop this, a group of residents and business owners has formed a coalition to try and stop this project: SAFE 285 (Safe Access for Everyone 285).

To find out all updates and efforts being made to keep 285 safe for everyone please visit:
pcbeacon.wixsite.com/pcbeacon/safe285

This will be the website that is updated with all information pertaining to the plans for 285.

There are two meetings this Friday (24th at 3:00) and Sunday (26th at 12:00). We are hoping to get media attention to the event. Please! Come out and support efforts to make Highway 285 SAFE!!!

Seems awful inexpensive for a CDOT project. I can remember the Jefferson project costing about that much and it was much smaller. Fingers crossed. It is a dangerous section of road mixing highway travel with local.
