watched the smoke from squaw pass yesterday afternoon.
looks like 4 firefighters lost their homes and i can imagine that they had done some wildlife mitigation. hard to stop a fire when it gets going.

We try to keep all of our keepsakes and important papers in two places, so if we are ever tested we know where to go. I can't image being tested. I know some up here were close enough to the Hi Meadow fire and had this test.

They don't know for sure if those 8 that are missing didn't evacuate. They will be going to the address to see if they are there and will be calling family members to see if they have heard from them or know where they are. There were 20 missing yesterday and they found 12 of them. They expect they will get more calls of people missing.
